Working with an Interior Designer for the first time may feel a bit intimidating.  Our goal is to walk with you step by step to make it stress free and exciting as we work together to get the look you want.

WHY SHOULD I HIRE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER?

Our homes are usually the largest investment we will make. With today’s busy lifestyles, we need our homes to function well. We spend an enormous amount of time raising our families, entertaining and working from home. At the end of the day, we all want to feel comfortable and relaxed in our homes. That is my goal for you and that’s what I can do for you!

WHAT DOES AN INTERIOR DESIGNER DO?

From a consultation to a complete room makeover to an entire new design. We can help find solutions to your specific design challenges, select paint colors, give creative ideas, offer solutions for window covering needs, space planning of areas, furniture selection. Often a 1-2 hour consultation is all that is needed to help with your smaller design challenges.

CAN YOU GIVE ME IDEAS WE CAN DO OURSELVES?

For small projects that don’t require specialized trades, a 1-2 hour consultation can easily provide ideas that homeowners can tackle themselves. Usually selecting paint colors, advice on room layout, suggestions for privacy/sun control issues or advice on organization can all be accomplished with a consultation.

CAN YOU HELP ME WITH WINDOW TREATMENTS FOR MY HOUSE?

Yes. Generally, this would be a consultation where we could discuss your needs, style and budget for the window coverings. This is an area where we can save homeowners time & money from shopping from store to store and ordering improper or inadequate window treatments.

DO YOU SHOP FOR CLIENTS?

Yes. We charge an hourly fee for up to 5 hours.

HELP! WE JUST MOVED INTO A NEW OPEN FLOOR PLAN HOUSE & I NEED HELP WITH  COLOR AND DECORATING?

We don't let that intimidate us. We can help you select the colors and give you advice on decorating your new spaces. This would begin with a consultation to understand your needs, desires & budget for the space(s). Then we work together to develop a design program to address your specific challenges.

HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR SERVICES?

If it's a small project, generally all that is needed is a consultation. My fee is $75 per hour and up to 2 hours is usually enough time to select paint colors for 1-2 rooms, and give ideas for room face lifts. If it is a larger project, a consultation is needed to gauge the scope of project. Depending on needs, and hourly fee is the the designer's choice for payment.
